什么时候spend后能用-ed
He didn't want to see anyone,so he spent one day locked in his room.这是英语课本后的一句话,为什么这里的spend后用-ed形式?不是spend加doing吗?

这里的locked是因为过去分词做one day的后置定语,因为他是被锁的,所以用过去分词,表示被动和完成.用动名词doing的话是表示主动的.
这里不涉及到spend的用法.所以不用locking,当然,这样也可以用being locked
spend的用法是 Spend time/ money on sth
Spend time/money in doing sth

好像spend没有spended的过去式，都是spent 呀！spent是spend的过去式，而没有spended，因为不是每一个单词的过去式都是加ed的。

省略了being吧。。

这里的主语he是“被锁” 所以用了locked （仅供参考）

spend变位为spend-spent-spent-spending，不是所有的动词过去时或者过去分词都直接在词尾加-ed的
有好几种特殊变位
1》 第一类不规则动词的三种形式同形，如：
cost cost cost
cut cut cut
hurt hurt hurt
shut shut shut
set set set
