答案是taught；has worked.
in the past 是指在过去（时间点）则这时用一般过去时,teach的过去时是taught.
像over the past four years这样的over +【 the past +时间 】在英语习惯中一般用现在完成时,即have（has）+ done(过去分词）,work的过去分词是worked,所以是has worked .
本题主要着重考察时态,注意各种时间状语就可以了.
翻译:以前他在学校里教书.但是过去的四年里他在农场里工作.
