Proud of being Chinese
It was reported that more and more American people had changed their attitude towards China after their president Barack Obama visited China in November,2009.China is no longer a dream or a mystery to American people or any of the western people.Not only due to the visit by the president,but also due to the rapid development of China's economy and the perfect performance of this ancient country in the recent economic crisis as well,China has left a very deep impression on the people all over the world.
Besides its long history,large area and great population,China has showed unlimited and super power in different aspects.From the rescue in the earthquake and the rebuilding after it in Sichuan Province,we can see the united spirit of the whole nation;from the success of the 29th Olympic Games in Beijing,we can feel the great enthusiasm of its people;and from the celebration of its 60th founding anniversary,we can experience the flourishment of its economy.
Being one of its citizen,I really feel stable,peaceful,hopeful,developing and flourishing as well.While I was seeing the end of the movie "The Year 2012" directed by American,I thought the Chinese ancient philosophy can also work well in the world issues,and it can be a great help for the whole human beings,especially for its future.Living in this country,I have to say,"I am very proud of being Chinese."
