In today's society, with the development of computer, daily management should be freed from miscellaneous affairs so as to enhance work efficiency (注：red tape 是指繁文缛节,用在这里并不合适). Although, at present, large bookstores have adopted a relatively complete information management system, most of the work in the small to medium sized bookstores are still implemented manually with low level of efficiency. It's hard to keep abreast of the inventory of different books in the store, to find the books requested by readers quickly, to stock and update the books, and to adjust the structure of book inventories in time. Moreover, omissions and mistakes in data can be resulted due to inevitable human factors. In order to acclimatise the current book selling needs, and to alleviate the drawbacks of manual management work, we have developed the bookstore sales management system to satisfy the spesific requirements in management practices and business operations of small to medium sized bookstores.
