Yichun (Chinese:伊春; pinyin:Yīchūn) is a prefecture-level city on the Songhua river north of Tieli in Heilongjiang province in Northeastern China and is surrounded by forests.
Yichun is a beautiful city with its economy based on forest industry.The city is famous for its Korean Pine,and the city is sometimes referred to as the hometown of Korean Pine.Also,Yichun housed the first discovered dinosaur fossil in china,and many dinosaur fossil after that,therefore,the city can also be referred to as the hometown of dinosaur.
City of Yichun also has a lot of tourist attraction,one of the most famous is its Korean Pine forest,which is considered to be the largest concentration of Korean Pine in the world.
Yichun is rich in minerals,it contains various of minerals,such as gold,silver,steel,copper,aluminum,and lead.Non-metal minerals are even more abundant in this city.It produces various stone used for constructions,and there are over 140 quarry sites located around the city.
