在这里可以省略,下面列举一些宾语从句中不能省略that的情况,楼主可以采用排除法
1.that 引导的宾语从句位于句首时.that不可省 如：
e.g.1）That you could complete the project so soon I never thought.
2）That our team will win,I believe.
2.That 引导的宾语从句前有插入语时.that不可省.如：
e.g.I think,first of all,that we must believe in ourselves.
3.在较为正式或不常用的动词(如reply,object)后.如：
e.g.He replied that he disagreed.他回答说他不同意
4.宾语从句为主从复合句,that之后紧跟着另一个连词,且从句位于主句之前时.这时that不能省略.如：
e.g.1)He said that if he came back early,he could come for the meeting.
2)Mary said that,as she was not well,she could not get the highest score in the mid-term exam.
5.在S + vt.+ it + adj.(n.) + that-clause”句型中,当it是形式宾语,后接that 引导的宾语从句时,that不省略.
e.g.1)We have made it clear that we will learn to deal with various difficult problems.
2)We think it important that college students should master at least one foreign language.
6.当that 引导的宾语从句后紧接着作主语的that (this )时,常不可省略.
e.g.1)He thought that that was a washing machine.
