是不是不该用whether?我怎么感觉说不通呢?是否.都是有利有弊的.

1.建议把rather than改成or,自然一些
2.句型应该改成it is both of advantage and disadvantage (for people) to do sth.括号里的可以省略,因为有上下文的话主语会比较清楚,不用赘述.是.的这种句型,当主语比较长的时候,都用it is句型,因为英语表达最忌讳的是头重脚轻,原句就是犯了这个忌讳.
