为什么这里要填seated而不是seating 不是 notice sb dong/do sth

seat为及物动词,柯林斯英汉双解大词典解释为： If you seat yourself somewhere, you sit down. 使 (自己) 坐下 [书面]
例：
He waved toward a chair, and seated himself at the desk.
他朝一把椅子一挥手,在桌旁坐了下来.
如果是主动语态的话,一般要跟反身代词作宾语,而题干当中并没有反身代词,所以,要使用被动语态,故填seated.——点金教育为您解答.

seated on the piano bench在这里是修饰boy的，是坐在钢琴边的boy
