如果America 指的是美国,那么应该是on the north of,因为接壤
这里大概指的是美洲,那么就是in,即A,说明在美洲的北部.

看来是记错了，抱歉，差点误导你。那这里America是美国，to the north of，就是北面的意思。 in 说明在北部，我又重新差了一下词典，好像 on the north of基本没有这么用的。
