这是雅思阅读里的吧.is to 我说不上是做什么成分,但整个句子的意思是“但是这是值得一试的,因为理解了人们最初对于这些影像的震撼就能理解……”开头的for是因为,to do sth is to do sth ,我想这个句子的结构应该比较容易理解吧.is 的前后一般形式都是一致的.所以既然for 后面不接动名词而接不定式,那么is后面也是不定式.
之余第二个问题,你说的什么什么样的quality也是做动词understand的宾语的.quality后的that是定语从句,再度修饰quality.所以确实和前面的power和cinema是并列的宾语.
