英语问题定语从句关系代词有时候看到用from which ,有时候看到from where.这两者的区别是什么

from which 属于一般定语从句.相当于关系副词.
而from where是定语从句很特殊的一种情况.比较少见.如：
he hid himself behind the wall,(from where) he could see enemy clearly
这道题意思是从墙后面.如果选from which.which 代替the wall.那翻译成从墙哪里?
可参考这个句子.He jumped from behind the tree.一般讲来from后应加名词或代词.但是没法表达从后面这个意思.而题目中定语从句就是把behind the wall 用where来代替.
