do you think middleman is important or not?why?

personally ,i believe so ,middleman is a person who "stands" between two sides ,have sth. to deal with . if you are a middleman of a star ,it is certain that you are always in dilemma ,sometimes you have to represent him or her to attend some public meeting to voice their opinion ,while they don't .middleman is a tough work while high prize ,so ,it likes a rope ties two sides ,so ,it must be important !
