APPENDIX 10
SERVICE PERFORMANCE
In the period in which the equipment will be under warranty Seller will support the systems and line in following ways:
Seller will nominate 1 service engineer responsible for providing the service.
This service engineer will be the prime contact for equipment and product related issues and will be the key communication person.
During the Warranty period the Seller will have a spare part consignment stock on the site.These parts will be used for either fast repair or warranty replacement.In case these parts are used for other purposes then warranty issues the parts will be billed to the Purchaser.
It is expected that the Purchaser will have a lockable room available for keeping this stock.Size approximately 16 Square meters.
A list of the consignment stock is part of the contract.This list will be updated once all final details of the tools and systems are cleared and fixed.After the warranty period the consignment stock will be sent back to the Seller or may alternatively be purchased in full or partially by the Purchaser.
During the Warranty period response time during normal day shift will be one Day.The response time is defined time between notification of a problem and first proposed solution.Time to resolve the problem will depend on the severity of the problem.However the average repair time during the Warranty period will not exceed 48 Hours.During evening and night shifts the Seller can be reached under a specific telephone number.
2 After Warranty period
After the Warranty period the service support will be according to our standard service model.Service will be performed at a standard daily rate excluding travel costs.On Saturdays and Sundays a special rate will apply.After Warranty services and costs will be settled in a separate contract.
