efore是指某一时刻前,这个时刻可以在过去也可以在将来.
ago是从本人说话这时之前.
He told me that he went there 3 months before.他告诉我他3个月前去了那儿(相对他说话的时候来说).
He told me that he went there 3 months ago.他告诉我他3个月前去了那儿(相对我说话的时候来说).
