Dear sir,
Recently,many accidents about school buses have been frequently reported in the newspaper,and now it has become a most concerned matter.A lot of school children who have to travel to school taking buses are in grave danger.Parents are also very anxiously worry about the safety of their children.
The are several main problems to blame for these accidents to happen.
Firstly,some school buses carrying excessive number of children,and they were over-loaded,which would make them heavier and need a longer distance to stop in emergency.
Secondly,school authorities are using abandoned vehicles as school buses,in order to save money.These kind of vehicle are out of date and out of repaired.They simply are not road worthy,unsuitable to use any more.In another word,They are already dangerous in the beginning.
Thirdly,the vehicle themselves were also lack of safety equipments and measures to protect their passengers and also with poor trained drivers.
Finally,the vehicle involved in most of these accidents were speeding.Drivers were going faster than they should,without thinking of their passengers safety.
In my opinion,If the school authorities want to prevent these kind of accidents to occur again or reduce the frequency of occurrence,they must take serious steps to improve the above mentioned problems to protect our children now.
