One of Tom's feet is bigger than the other.“I can never find shoes for my feet,”he says to his friend,Dave.
“Why don't you go to a shoemarker?”Dave asy,“A good one can make you right shoes.”
“Well,aren't they expensive?”Tom asks.
“No,”Dave says,“some of them aren't.There is a good one in our villagge,and he makes shoes for others at a low price.Here is his address.”He writes something on a piece of paper and gives it to Tom.
Tom goe to the shoemaker in Dave's village a few days later,and asks the shoemaker to make him some shoes.
A week later,Tom goes to the shoemaker agin and looks at the shoes.He becomes angry and says to the shoemaker,“You are foolish!I tell you to make one shoe bigger than the other,but you make one smaller than the other.”
