On Monday, the Student Union of our school appealed to (called on) all students to participate in a campaign to protect the earth by carrying out some activities. The first activity of the campaign is to collect wasted plastic bags in the community from 9 am to 12:00 pm next Saturday. All the students in the first and second year are required to take part. The activity is to make people in our community aware that plastic bags do harm to our environment, hoping that they will use fewer plastic bags for shopping. Every one is expected to meet at the school gate on time, taking your own lunch.
