英语中为什么of后接可数名词有时既不用冠词a也不用复数形式

of 有很多用法的,你指的是哪种啊?
列举一二：
some/most/many of the students, 这儿的the不能省哦,而且用复数.
lots of students, lots of 和a lot of 是many/much 的另一种说法.
two kinds of cake(s), 表示种类的kind of后单复数都可以,而且没有冠词.
