have sb.done让某人做某事
about 2 hundred of the paintings were stolen 说的是大约有两百的画被盗.如果是about hundreds of the paintings就是大约几百张画作了,about不应该用

这句的语法重点应该是现在完成时
about 2 hundred of the paintings were stolen 数百幅被偷，这个重点是画被偷，用2 hundred of可能只是一个习惯用语
