The people in the same field, their IQ, the information they get, and their abilities are almost the same. It means most of people in the same field are average. But no one is born to average; everyone wants to be a leader in their own field. What thing can make a person stand out from his field? Courage
A Germany general said: “If a person wants to brave in battle, the first thing he should do is overcoming his inherent [ɪn'hɪrənt], deep-rooted ['dip'rutɪd] self-defense.” It means that the self-defense limits people contributing to the group. Human being is a very complex and contradictory [,kɑntrə'dɪktəri] species ['spiʃiz, -siz]. In one side, humans are eager to show their value in the group; in other side, people always make the decision that is best for their own. Contributing to group always means harm for own benefits. Self-defense is the human’s eldest ['eldɪst] law, if one person wants to show his value in the group, he should have courage to overcome his self-defense, and put the group’s benefits at the first place.
Courage to be different
There is a theory ['θiəri] called “the effect [i'fɛkt] of sheep Flock [flɑk]”. It was used to describe a phenomenon [fɪ'nɑmə,nɑn] in equity ['ɛkwɪti] investment field that there are always many people trading the same stock [stɑk] within a certain period of time. Those people think the more people buy this stock, the safer they are. If they are failed, the loss of the failure is shared by all the people who hold the stock. Everyone knows it is impossible that many people become millionaires [,mɪljə'nɛr] by buying the same stock at the same time. Humans afraid fail alone, so people always blind [blaɪnd] follow others. Those followers are always followers. For the people who did not follow the public, a few of them got success, like Warren Buffett, they are considered the leaders in equity investment field. This is a hard decision, to be different or just follows the public. For a person, only he is different from most people then he gets the chance to get a bigger success than most persons. But it also highly increases the risk of failure. Many people know this logical relationship, but there are a few people having the courage to be different.
Besides, if some people believe someone, and let the person make a decision, then the guy should have the courage to make a decision and response for the decision. A decision can determine a group, a nation, or a country future. Arthur ['ɑ:θə] Neville Chamberlain ['tʃeimbəlin], the premier [prɪ'mɪr] of Britain, he was a successful leader before WW II. In that time, the Britain and French had the opportunity to kill fascist ['fæʃɪst] in the cradle ['kreidl], but he chose to believe Hilter, the war broke out. When leaders realize ['riə,laɪz] the consequences of the decision would be very serious, they may not have the courage to make a decision.
To be a leader, it needs many aspects of quality and talent ['tælənt]. Most of those quality and talent is not people cannot do or people can hold it by studying. But although some people know how to do, they may do not have the courage to do. Courage is one of the most important aspects in the leadership.

Taj Mahal is located in the north of India. It is considered the finest combination of Indian, Islamic, and Persian culture. For same reasons, Taj Mahal becomes one of the most famous and greatest constructions in the world. There are more than 25,000 people visiting Taj Mahal everyday, but in fact, do they all really know the reason why Taj Mahal is so fascinating?
In 1631, the emperor of Northern Indian, Shah Jehan, was also called the king of the world, he forced more than 20,000 workers, and spent nearly 22 years to build a construction. After completing this building, he ordered more than 5000 construction workers fingertips cut off to make sure they could not build another one. This construction is Taj Mahal, one of the new Seven Wonders in the World. Taj Mahal is so famous in the world, not only because it spent a long time, cost a huge of money, and used a lot of workers, but also the tale behind the tower.
In 1612, Shah Jehan married Mumtaz Mahal. They were madly in love. They had 14 children over the next 20 years. When Mumtaz was about to give birth of their 14th child, she said she had heard their unborn baby cry out. This was a sigh of death. Indeed, Mumtaz died during the birth of their 14th child. As Mumtaz lay dying, she asked Jehan to build a lasting memorial to celebrate their love.
When the heartbroken Jehan appeared eight days after his wife’s death, his people were shocked to see that his black hair had turned white. Putting away his sadness, Jehan began to carry out his wife’s dying wish.
In 1653, when the construction was completed, Jehan placed his wife’s remains in the center of the building.
At this time, Jehan’s fifth son, Anrangzeb, murdered his brothers, and took over the power form his father, and imprisoned his father for his rest 8 years. Jehan was only allowed to climb onto the top of the prison to see Taj Mahl from a distance, until he was died because of illness. But fortunately, Shah Jehan was buried in the Taj Mahal next to his wife. After that people regard Taj Mahal as a sign of love.
Besides the impressive story about Taj Mahal, there are some other amazing things about this construction. For example, the inverted reflection of Taj Mahal in the river likes a female head image. (Crown, eyes, nose, mouth)
The Taj Mahal is so fascinating, it is because it’s bloody, costly, and lengthy construction process, its impressive love story, its amazing coincidence, and because its value in the history and culture.
