There are eight apple on the tree.Little Mouse wants to get one.But the tree is tall,and Little Mouse is very short.He can’t reach the apples.
Miss Bird comes and gets an apple for him.Little Mouse is happy andhe wants to be a bird.“If I were a bird,I could get the apples.”
Mr Monkey climbs up the tree and gets an apple for him.Little Mouse is happy and he wants to be a monkey.“If I were a monkey,I could get the apples.”
Mr Elephant comes.He gets an apple for him.Little Mouse is happy and he wants to have a long nose.“If I were an elephant,I could get the apples.”
Miss Giraffe comes and gets an apple for him.Little Mouse is happy and he thinks,“If I were a giraffe,I could get the apples.”
Mother Kangaroo jumps to the tree with her baby.She gets two apples for him.Little Mouse is happy and he says,“If I were a kangaroo,I could get the apples.”
There are only two apples on the tree now.Mr Sea Lion comes.“Little Mouse,can I help you?”Little Mouse looks at Mr Sea Lion and asks,“Can you fly?”Mr Sea Lion answers,“Sorry,I can’t.””Can you climb trees?” “Sorry ,I can’t.” “Can you jump?” “Sorry,but I can bounce a ball on my head.”
Mr Sea Lion jumps up high and bounces Little Mouse up to the tree.Now Little Mouse gets the last two apples.He gives one to Mr Sea Lion.They are very happy.
