I disagree with the statement that an artist needs to be gifted.
The main reason is that the most essential factor to become a successful artist is being diligent.My father is an artist,however,he had no talent to draw as well as others when he was young.He never gave up and finally succeeded by working hard.
Moreover,having a lot of living experience is also more important than being gifted.If an artist doesn't have enough experience,how can he understand the circumstance deeply to create a fantastic art work?
