Both my dad and I enjoy music.However,we have different tastes of music.My dad enjoys classical music.I,on the other hand,like pop music.
Classical music is highly crafted by the world's best composers.Unlike pop music,great classical music can be enjoyed for centuries.He thinks classical music is pure music.It means that you have to know what you’re doing to write it or perform it unlike pop music which can be written in less musically complex manners due to the inability of pop musicians/songwriters to create music in a studied way.Classical music has a limited audience as contrast to that of pop.
Though we have differences in our choice of music,we respect each other's preference.To tell someone that this music is better than what they like will simply get us in an argument going nowhere,because we all like what we like.There are instances I will persuade my dad to listen to Lady Gaga while I listen to his Mozart.Our differences dissolved in the light of our common passion - music.
