1.more suitable表示更适用的意思,整句：“这项新计划虽然适用于之前的那个项目,但是还存在一些缺陷.”
2.考虑买越野车的人群数量持续上升；consider后面要用buying,不能用to buy.
3.用had worked,表示在他退休前,他一直在这个公司工作,属于"过去的过去",意思是：“Janet 在这个公司当任编辑一职,一直到2009年,他才退休了.”
4.意思是：“我稍后会打电话跟简谈.”
这是将来完成时的用法,表示在将来某一时间以前已经完成或一直持续的动作.
