(sth.) be used to do sth. 这时的use解作“使用”
used to do sth. 过去常常 （常有“过去常常,但现在已不”的意思）
be used to doing sth. 解作“习惯于”,这里的to是介词,后接名词、代词或动名词,be可被get、become等系动词代替

to 不是介词就是副词 表示“习惯于”时，be used to doing sth.是固定搭配，名词/动名词前作介词用 副词一般和动词或形容词搭配

be used to do sth其实是 sb use ...to do sth变成的被动语态。如：
I use a bottle to hold water.---A bollte is used to hold water (by me)
be used to doing sth 习惯于做....【句子的主语是动作的发出者】固定用法。
区别两者还是要看语境的。

前者意思为：习惯于做某事，相当于get used to doing sth。
后者意思为：过去常常做某事。如果之前再加一个be动词就是“被用来做某事”。
这是固定词组 死记就好
