Terms and conditions of the purchase
Acceptance
Goods should only be supplied against a written official Purchase Orderissued by the Council. Acknowledgement of receipt and acceptance of theorder on the duplicate copy of this Purchase Order would be appreciated.
Warranty
The Seller expressly warrants that articles materials, parts andwork covered by this order will conform to the specifications, drawings, or other description furnished or adopted by the Buyer and will be of mechantable quality, good workmanship, and free from defect. It is specifically agreed that the above warranties shall survive inspection, test and acceptance. This warranty shall run to Buyer, its successors, assigns, and customers, and to the users of its products.
Termination
The provisions herein shall not limit or affect the right of the Buyer to terminate this order for the default of the Seller. Delivery must be effected within the time stated on the purchase order. Unless delay is due to causes beyond your control, we reserve the right to purchase elsewhere and charge you with any less incurred as a result thereof.
Discount
Discount period shall be construed to start from date of Buyer is receipt of either the invoice or the material, whichever is later.
