Today my parents and i went to a western food restaurant.I was attracted by the furnishings when i just went in.There are beautiful paintings on wall,an old fashioned fireplace under one of those paintings.The ceiling is decorated by statues,and the whole room was flooded with soft light coming from the crastal pendants.
On the white tablecloth I noticed the lovely shining dinner sets:stainless steel knives and forks,pretty wine glasses,and fine chinawares.
After we sit at the table,we began to order.First we ordered smoked salmon as appetizer,then my parents asked rare steak for their main dish,apple pie and ice cream as their dessert.To me,I chose a special for kids,including tuna salad,chicken sandwich,and fries.Of couse there were my favourite chocolate cookies and vanilla ice-cream.When the waiter asked what we would like to drink,my parents asked for red wine,and I certainly wanted strawberry milk shake with ice,I love it !
As Chinese,we don't go to western food restaurant so often,this time was a great experience to me.Not only because of the delicious food,but also the fantastic environment and different feelings.I can't wait to come again.
