emain 的意思(常考的)是保持；留下.如1.please remain seated.请保持做好.2.After the fire,nothing remained.
remind 的意思是提醒,常考用法:remind sb to do sth提醒某人去做某事/ remind sb of sth提醒某人某件事情

remain是依然、保持的意思，后面可以直接接形容词，比方说，remain healthy，依然健康。
remind是提醒，使…想起的意思，remind sb (of sth/sb) 提醒某人不要忘记…，有时会用remind sb to do...
