Homework,how much is enough?
Homework,or homework assignment,refers to tasks assigned to students by their teachers to be completed mostly outside of class,and derives its name from the fact that most students do the majority of such work at home.
For many years,there has been a debate on how much amount of homework should be assigned.Many teachers believe homework is a good way for revising the class outside the class,student would not only benefit academically,also they could established a good studying habit.As the world become more competitive,more and more homework for student was assigned or demanded by the parent,with 7/ 8 subject per day,a student will spend at least 5-6 hours on study at home.
There is a downside to this,as the students were "forced" to learn,their interests in studying has rapidly decreased.Although academically they are exercised fully,they no longer have the eager to learn by themselves.Most students will not establish their own schedule of studying,and wish no homework time at all.
I believe that the homework amount should be assigned weekly,since the students could manage their time to fit with each subject and maximum their learning ability.It also helps them to establish a reasonable routine,make learning apart of their life.
The content of homework should be more inspiring and more practical,which the students will enjoy more,and seek the fun in learning.
In conclusion,homework is necessary exercise in studying,but it should be more flexible in time and kept as the inspiration of learning.Learning should part of you life,not load.
