正常情况下间接引语的语序使用正语序,这一点你肯定知道吧,例如：
“how old are you?”
He asked me how old I am.
“What's the matter?”是一个特殊情况,人们习惯于不改变它的语序,无论是直接还是间接,所以在间接引语里仍旧保持原样,只是用过去式.

答案A是正确的
即使在间接引语里，也必须说what is/was the matter
而不能把the matter放在前面
这是间接引语语法的一个特例
实际上，the matter等于wrong，即what's the matter等于what's wrong

这个是高中时候经常做的。选A。我肯定。因为这句话的主语不是the matter,而是what。我记得高中老师是这么讲的。
