research into 与research on的区别
研究生英语教材上有一题：A good deal of research is being carried out nowadays（ ）the causes of juvenile crime。选项里有into 和on 但是答案是into，翻查了很多字典都没有弄明白，求各位大侠指教。
难道是习惯用法？哎呀，看来是把简单为题复杂化了！不过还是希望能有更准确或者有说服力的解释啊。

into一般接the cause of sth，而on直接接sth。

其实没是么差别
至少在我看来
我们看看纯英国人的英文
Since 1983 SkyePharma has been working at the forefront of current research into drug delivery.（出处于2002年该公司年报）
也没说the cause of，或者暂时这么理解，into和on 可以接sth，into也可...
