the way 和 in the way 引导从句时的区别

（1）the way which/that/省略 后面接的是同位语从句,从句是和the way构成并列结构,与the way 的地位是一样的,是用来进一步说明the way是什么.
（2）in the way which/that/省略...后面加的的定语从句.是做way的定语.翻译成用“什么样的”方法.引号里面“什么样的”就是从句的内容.
例子：
(1)Things won't ever again be the way (that) they used to be.事物（在变化）不可能再同过去一样.（同位语从句）
（2）He got the first prize in the way that is accepted by the majority of people.他以大多数人都认可的方式赢得了第一名.（定语从句）
