和"Are there any more clothes to wash?"asked Mum.在语法上都是正确的,只是“逻辑”问题.
一般来说,- - - - - to be washed强调的是被动概念,也就是衣服由他人wash,穿的人不wash.
- -- - - -to wash强调的是穿这些衣服的人自己去洗.
又如：I have a letter to type ---------这句强调我自己把这封信打出来.
I have a letter to be typed --------这句强调我的信将由别人打出来.
There are a lot of homework to do ------这句强调说话人自己去做,所以不用被动语态.等于There are a lot of homework FOR ME to do.

前者是对的。 主语是clothes 所以要用 to be washed ，不定式的被动式，在这里做clothes 的定语。那为什么是，there are a lot of homework to do?啊。这个为什么不用被动？There are a lot of homework to do ------这句强调说话人自己去做，所以不用被动语态。等于There are a lot of home...
