非常感谢您！只是我还不明白，如果是that，那that 应该做宾语，而这里应该做时间状语才对啊，也就是说my father tried to teach me how to ride a bicycle on the day ,这里on the day 应该用when 来引导定语从句，而且不应该省略，不知我这样理解哪里出了问题。谢谢！

I remember the day，是一句完整的话了，后面的my father tried to teach me how to ride a bicycle .这句话是做宾语的补语的。强调的是the day,that代表的就是the day ,做得是后面宾语补语的主语，所以省略了，其实也可以加上的。。只是显得有点重复了。。不知道你有没有明白。。
