Nowadays,self-study has become more and more popular.we can learn anything intrested in by self-studying,though it may not involved in our specialty.
It has advantages and disadvantages ,as any other things .we can choose things which appeal to us to learn.but ,since we learn them by ourselves,little direction can we get by others.
while ,is it hard or not ,compared with the traditional learning way?I consider it a personal issue.we should have the right to learn what we want,and we must accept to pay more courage and patience to gain it.we can try to explor and selectthe information we need from all we can get from the tool.
anyway,in my opinion ,self-studying is a useful and worthy way of learning.
