辞典上是junior middle school 和senior middle school/high school.但是看到英美概况上说美国的中学分为：junior high school和senior high school.到底怎么叫呢?
美国高中可以选修课程吗?

British English:中学(包括初中和高中)secondary school
American English:初中:junior high school
高中:high school
美国高中当然可以选修啦,就连我们高中都可以的
叫做elective course;)

其实美国的中学不分初中和高中， 只有high school.
