spend in doing sth
既然spend in doing,doing我可以看成是一个动名词吗?然后不就等于spend in sth咯.我这样理解对的吗?那如果我写spend in sth,比如说 i spend a lot of time in this book.

这是一个固定词组,不能这样改.你写的那句话 正确的应该是 I spend a lot of time in reading this book.

错的spend（in）doing sth 这个介词in可以省略但是动名词不能省略，省略的动名词就犯了语法错误。应该是spend on sth （这个on不能省略）

spend time/money in doing sth/in sth都是对的
等于spend in sth只能在心里这样想
