scare和frighten 区别

frighten是最普通的词,没有特殊的意义,仅表示“吓唬”或“使…害怕”

scare在口语中的含义与frighten相同,可以通用；但是在文学作品中,用词准确的作家总是把它用于表示把某人“吓跑”
