第一题为什么不用which，不是非限制性定语从句吗？ 第二题老师给的答案是whom，但我也认为是they。那个对？ 第三题答案是them。老师说both of them 做同位语，但还是不太清楚为什么后面不用加be动词。

第一句因为先行词是son，是人，所以关系代词用both of who，并不是所用的非限制性定语从句都用which引导的 第二句是they，因为有了一个and，是两并列句，不是定语从句 第三句因为没有了and，所以只能有一个谓语，只有这样写做同位语

1.因为前面是of所以后面只能用宾格whom，所以whom而不是who，准确来讲的话，不是么？ 3.both of them做two sons的同位语， 还是 both of them college students做two sons的同位语？总觉得读不通。

1不是啊，用不用whom主要看先行词在从句中的成分，在从句中作宾语才用whom的，这边坐主语 不是介词就用whom的 3college做son的同位语，起的是解释说明的作用

麻烦你了。但是第三题还不明白，能再详细解说一下吗？college是大学，而son是儿子，“大学”可以做“儿子”的同位语？

第一个非限制性定语从句,因为前面是of所以后面只能用宾格whom 第二个是并列句,就是两句话并列在一起,同样of后面用宾格them 第三个同位语,用来补充说明前面的sons,填them

第一个应该是“whom” 句子前后用逗号隔开，所以后面必须是一个定语从句，否则两个简单句间不能仅用逗号，而应该用and等连词连接。
第二个是“them” 也可以把逗号改成句号，即：The old man has two sons. Both of them are college students
