Dear Tim,
I’m very glad to receive your letter. I'm going to say something about Spring Festival and my
school life.
As you know, Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people.It is in Janurary or February. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up with red paper. People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast. We also burn fireworks. That's interesting. Do you think so?
My school life is very happy. All the teachers and students are getting along well with each other. We have less homework. So we have a lot of time to do many other things. I usually play football with my friends after school. At weekends, I often surf the Interenet at home. Sometimes I go to the park with my parents. Would you like to come to China this summer holiday? I hope so. We'll have a good time, I think.
