His father died on a winter morning.
2.过去完成时.had died.
His father had died for 5 years when he was only a schoolboy.
3.现在完成时.have/has died.
His father has died for 5 years.
4.将来时.be going to died /be dying/will die.
His farther is dying.
5.将来完成时.will have died.
When you come again his father will have died.
注：“死亡”一般没有现在时.
以上前三种时态中的die均可换成同意词passed away.
